Whenever I get asked by clients trying to decide what to wear to their session, I always recommend wearing neutrals. Neutral tones such as black, white and grey always go with every skin tone and they can really help to give the image some dimension. You can choose to match with everyone wearing the same tone or you can choose to wear opposite colours. Either way you've made the right choice.
One of the reasons why I love having Parents and Siblings in a neutral tone is so that we can choose to wrap baby in a colour that pops. Again you really can't go wrong with wearing neutrals.
Pop of Colour
If you are wanting to have more colourful family photos that is 100% doable too! We can match baby to your outfit, match siblings or use colour to help baby stand out in the image. There are so many possibilities when it comes to family images.
With adding colour to your family photos the only thing I would highly recommend against is wearing fabric that has a detailed pattern on it. Large patterns are totally okay as they aren't distracting, but if there is a wrinkle that needs to be edited out it might not be doable with a detailed pattern.
